Malaria
Malaria is the world’s most important parasitic disease transmitted from one person to another through the bite of female Anopheles mosquitoes, which breed in fresh or occasionally brackish water.
Its symptoms are the chills, long fevers that occur every three or four days. If malaria is not treated the spleen and liver enlarge, anamenia develops, and clogging of the vessels of cerebral tissues which affects the red blood cells can be followed by death.

Simple Water Treatment
The water borne diseases commonly seen in developing countries are spread by consuming water that contains pathogens and bacteria. The reason third world countries get these diseases is because they water is not safe to drink and to use. The water is extremely contaminated. Some ways that water can be safer to drink is staining water through cloth and the lifestraw method. The lifestraw method is a simple method invented by Vestergaard Frandsen. The invention is sucking on a straw which is a small plastic tube that contains disinfectant filters. This product is based on active charcoal and iodine product . This method is beneficial because it is simple, handy while traveling if the water system fails, it has been claimed to almost elimate bacteria, no power is required, and murky water can be used in this process. The next process is called staining water through a cloth. This process involves water being filter by using a cloth. This method removes the main impurities of the water for example any insects. This is a simple method will improve the water quality.
Prevention
In order prevent diseases like malaria and polio everyone should have access to pure and clean water. Many people living in developing countries do not have access to clean water. In fact many of them probably haven't seen a glass of clean water in their life. A way to prevent bacteria and diseases is to probably establish a way to provide clean water for all in third world countries. By providing safe water people will have a lesser chance of getting diseases and will reduce deaths.
